The Nature of God, the Spirit This section depends upon the nature of God, the Father, and the nature of God, the Son. As I've discussed, we know that the New Testament authors are reliable. Most of our knowledge of the Holy Spirit comes from the experience of the apostles, recorded in the Acts of the Apostles. While the Gospels are primarily about our experience of God in the person of Jesus, the Acts are primarily about our experience of God, the Spirit. Though most of our knowledge of the Spirit comes from Acts, Jesus does have teachings about the Spirit, which we can trust. It will make the most sense to read the sections below in order, but it is not strictly necessary. The Holy Spirit is the Gift of God, the Father, and God, the Son The Holy Spirit is the Guide to Truth The Holy Spirit Has Spoken Through the Prophets
